The Senior Innovation Engineer supports development and delivery of digital transformation using Pegasystems capabilities, which include intelligent automation, artificial intelligence, robotic automation, and low-cod configuration. In this role, the Senior Innovation Engineer will work alongside a team of lead system architects, business architects, developers, and external partners to help scope and deliver new Pega intelligent automation projects.
Responsibilities
~1 min readAs a as key member of a client delivery team, the Senior Innovation Engineer will be responsible for the following:
- →Serve as an in-house developer, supporting the implementation of Pega intelligent automation capabilities and features in support of client delivery projects and programs
- →Work with lead system architects and business architects to scope use cases and user stories to maximize use of Pega out-of-the-box capabilities
- →Provide input on user story design, backlog grooming, user story prioritization, and test case development.
- →Configure and implement assigned user stories, leveraging as much of Pega’s out-of-the-box capabilities as possible
- →Complete unit testing of developed functionality before code reviews and branch merging
- →Report status for assigned user stories during the agile team’s standup cadence
- →Troubleshoot and resolve assigned bugs and enhancement issues
Requirements
~1 min read- 5 to 7 years of of experience in building and implementing model-driven, enterprise level business solutions and applications
- Must have an active Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) certification or higher
- Must have at least 3 years of hands-on and progressive experience implementing Pega applications
- Must have a working knowledge of Pega’s Enterprise Class Structure and working knowledge of Pega rule resolution
- Experience developing applications using modern technologies and frameworks, such as: AngularJS, React, REST, NodeJS, HTML5, CSS, NoSQL databases, Hadoop, Chef, iOS, Android, and AWS/Cloud Infrastructure to name a few
- BS / MS in computer science or related engineering field
- Strong communication skills and confident speaking and presenting in front of internal team members and external clients
- U.S. Citizenship or Green Card Required
