Join us as a Project Manager Commissioning (f/m/d) and become an integral part of our dynamic team! In this role, you'll be the driving force behind ensuring our Data Centers meet and exceed operational and technical standards. Collaborating closely with local operations and expansion teams, as well as our HQ Operations and Design, Engineering and Construction Team, you'll provide invaluable technical consulting to ensure seamless service solutions.
Your responsibilities will include attending and enhancing commissioning tests for new Data Centers or expansions, ensuring compliance with technical standards and local regulations, and providing technical feedback for documentation and build standards. With your expertise in Data Centers Operations and Facility Management, you'll prepare and oversee the handover process from construction to operations, guaranteeing all criteria are met, including comprehensive training for the local Operations team. Additionally, you'll lend your technical prowess to the expansion team, guiding construction projects to align with Digital Realty's standards and requirements. - Educated to a vocational level in a technical field; electrical or cooling bachelor or/and master exam is an advantage
- 3 – 5 years practical experience in an electro technical or industrial / mechanical environment
- Experienced from the electrotechnical field, ideally authorized to manage electrical switch operations
- Experienced in design review, commissioning and operation of critical infrastructure
- Experienced in operating building monitoring systems and analyzing trends
- Motivation for interdisciplinary education
- Familiar with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standards
- Class B driver’s license
- Flexibility to travel
- Fluent in English and German
