Change Management and Training
Enable and facilitate change management initiatives resulting from system updates, sourcing adjustments, or business process modifications.
Implement training models based on Train-the-Trainer principles to effectively integrate system changes for sourcing professionals and internal stakeholders.
Identify and address discrepancies between stakeholder expectations and change management outcomes.
Oversee and accurately convert labour/work scopes provided by Implementation Managers (IMs) into purchase orders.
Manage the handover process and ensure the accurate transformation of BOM specifications into purchase orders.
Delivery Management:
Confirm onsite delivery dates across project stages.
Monitor and expedite deliveries to ensure timely arrival to meet overall customer RFS needs.
Track and report on logistics and receiving (actual receiving is managed by IMs).
Invoice Management:
Obtain delivery assurance before payment.
Verify billing accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Ensure timely payments and manage returns.
Inventory Management:
Manage vendor minimum/maximum levels.
Oversee lead times for replenishment on Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI).
Implement strategies for active inventory management.
Supplier Consolidation:
Support and enforce supplier consolidation rules.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
Purchase Order (PO) Management:
Create and supervise the issuance of POs for both labour and materials, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
Responsible to meet departmental and business KPI’s and SLA’s as defined for subregional
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of buyers.
Provide training and development opportunities.
Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Supply Chain & Procurement and data center industry certifications / memberships are desirable.
Expertise:
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and inventory management.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Experience in vendor management and supplier consolidation is a plus.
- Skilled knowledge in procurement of technical products and services
- Skilled in interpreting, working with and negotiation contracts.
- Skilled knowledge in financial analysis and problem-solving
