Teacher of Music with Computer Science (or other additional subject)

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Music or a closely related discipline. A Bachelor of Education with a specialisation in Music is ideal; a Master’s degree is preferred for candidates without a BEd or PGCE, subject to BC certification requirements.

Ability to teach AP Music Theory or BC Contemporary Music 12; music teaching expertise is essential.

Experience teaching AP Computer Science Principles (AP CSP) is strongly preferred. The ability to teach another complementary subject would also be an advantage.

Relevant secondary school teaching experience, ideally within an international or North American curriculum.

British Columbia Certificate of Qualification (CoQ), or willingness and eligibility to undertake this credential.
