Salary Range: $64,172 - $69,548
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Assist in confidential financial investigations.
- →Prepare analysis of complex financial records pertaining to alleged criminal activity to determine whether or not an offense has occurred.
- →Under supervision develop and research leads to corroborate the accuracy of information obtained.
- →Communicate the methodology used to commit the offense and the total financial loss to the victim(s).
- →Present results in oral and written presentation to ADAs based on the evidence.
- →Testify at Hearings, Grand Jury proceedings and Trials.
- →Assist in the execution of search warrants.
- →Assist with conducting interviews of victims, witnesses, informants and alleged defendants.
- →Perform related duties as assigned.
Requirements
~1 min read- Level 1 – Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or a related field required.
- Level 2 – Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance or a related field required and one (1) year of experience.
- Level 3 – Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or a related field required and two (2) years of experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical and investigative skills required.
- Must communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to work independently.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to duties described above; or
- Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" above.
- City Residency is not required for this position.
- Monday - Friday, from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

- Current office employees: To be eligible for a transfer or promotion, staff must have already served at least one (1) year in their current unit/bureau/department and be in good standing. In addition, staff must meet the minimum and additional qualifications of the position.
- Looking for candidates who could commit to two (2) years in the bureau.
