DLK Group is seeking an experienced Client Engagement Manager to build, strengthen and grow strategic relationships across South Africa’s public sector. The role is focused on executive stakeholder engagement, account strategy, opportunity development and commercial stewardship within an ICT consulting environment. Key responsibilities Own and deepen relationships with senior stakeholders across national, provincial, local and state-owned public-sector organisations. Develop stakeholder maps, engagement plans and account growth strategies for assigned clients and prospects. Identify, qualify and progress opportunities aligned with DLK Group’s ICT consulting capabilities. Position DLK Group as a trusted strategic partner through relevant, insight-led client engagement. Lead commercial discussions and support the development of proposals, bids and presentations. Maintain strong commercial governance across opportunities, contracts and account commitments. Monitor public-sector priorities, procurement activity and market developments to inform account plans. Provide clear pipeline, relationship-health and account-performance reporting to leadership. Represent DLK Group professionally at executive meetings, industry forums and client engagements. Requirements Relevant bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Public Administration, Marketing, Information Technology or a related field. Five or more years’ experience in client engagement, key account management, business development or strategic relationship management. Demonstrated experience engaging South African public-sector clients and senior decision-makers. Sound understanding of public-sector procurement, supply chain management, tender and contracting environments. Experience in ICT consulting, professional services or technology-enabled solutions. Strong negotiation, commercial judgement, written communication, presentation and executive reporting skills. Ability to travel to client sites as required. Remuneration is market-related and aligned to the experience and requirements of the role.
