Guard daily quality performance on the line, monitoring and improving FPY, scrap, rework, and defect paretos through structured problem-solving (5-Why, 8D).
Run and sustain incoming and in-process controls (visual, dimensional, torque, functional), ensuring gages, calibration, and MSA/GRR are up to date.
Maintain and execute Control Plans and Work Instructions handed over from Spain; manage change control in coordination with the Production Manager.
Build and keep the PPAP dossier current; support Run@Rate rehearsals and customer PSW/liberations.
Lead or support internal audits and readiness for ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and VDA 6.3 (training provided if needed).
Partner with Process Engineering and Maintenance on root-cause analysis and corrective actions (4M approach: Man, Method, Machine, Material).
Serve as the local interface with customers and suppliers on quality issues, maintaining a calm, factual, and professional communication style.

Nice to Have

Experience with PPAP documentation, Run@Rate, and customer audits.
Familiarity with traceability systems, torque tools, and functional testing.
