System Architecture & Design

Understand, Define and develop system-level architecture for Powertrain -ICE/EV/HEV components

Creating and maintaining system specifications and interface requirements.

Architecture/design reviews to resolve issues and ensure adherence to established guidelines and standards.

Contribute to system architecture/boundary diagrams for powertrain components Requirements Management

Responsible for functional requirements, diagnostics and End of line requirements writing for thermal (ICE/HEV/EV etc)

Capture, analyze, and manage customer and regulatory requirements and creating functional requirements

Translate requirements into technical specifications and ensure traceability.

Responsible for the delivery of Functional Requirement including all necessary e-powertrain content

Responsible for the delivery of Functional Requirement including all necessary powertrain thermal content

Work closely with hardware, software, and vehicle integration teams.

Leading the creation of detailed documentation for all functions and interfaces within an end-to-end vehicle architecture.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with automotive standards, Homologation, Diagnostics).

Cross-functional Collaboration

Work closely with hardware, software, and vehicle integration teams.

Leading the creation of detailed documentation for all functions and interfaces within an end-to-end vehicle architecture.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics engineering, Electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.

8+ years of experience in automotive systems engineering or powertrain development (ICE/EV/HEV).

Knowledge of functional safety and vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN).

Familiar with Doors tool (DNG, Doors)

Knowledge about regulations, Homologation,

Knowledge about test log readings and analysis

Issue resolution capabilities

Experience in automotive systems engineering and powertrain development (ICE/EV/HEV).

Knowledge of functional safety and vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN).

Experience on system level DFMEA

Issue resolution capabilities and dealing with testing / validation team

Knowledge about INCOSE guideline for requirements writing

Should have knowledge about ECUs working and its interface design / signal definition
