Drivvn is a fast-growing B2B SaaS scale-up transforming how the automotive industry sells and leases vehicles online. Since 2020, we've built digital retail platforms for major brands including Stellantis, Ford, Volvo, Volkswagen, Omoda & Jaecoo, MHC and Leasys across 10 European markets, facilitating €2.2 billion in annual online sales for our clients.

We're a 62-person team, a wholly owned subsidiary of the TCC Group, generating £8.4 million revenue in FY25 and aiming to scale rapidly. This is an opportunity to make a real impact as we grow.

We're creating our first commercial finance position - a new role for the business. As we scale, we need someone who can turn our data into insight, challenge our thinking, and drive smarter commercial decisions.

You'll report to the Finance Director and be the bridge between all teams—Land & Expand, Product, Platform, HR, Finance and Legal. As the commercial finance expert, you will build the frameworks, analysis, and discipline we need as we mature.

Responsibilities

~1 min read

This isn't a box-ticking role. You'll need bags of initiative, comfort with ambiguity, and the confidence to get stuck in. This is a genuine opportunity to build commercial finance capability from scratch in a scaling SaaS business. You'll have real influence on commercial strategy, direct access to senior leadership, and the chance to establish frameworks and processes that will shape how we grow.

You'll be in the thick of commercial decisions, working with smart people who genuinely want to hear good ideas. If you want to make a tangible impact and grow with a business that's genuinely going somewhere, this could be exactly the right move.

  • Track and monitor key SaaS metrics, implementing trackers that report performance vs Plan and flag what's needed to close any gap

  • Translate complex data into clear, compelling insights for the SMT and Board

  • Work with the Land & Expand teams to track project performance and burn, and action improvements

  • Review new business quotes and pipeline to assess quality and profitability

  • Support tender responses with financial modelling, ROI analysis, and commercial structuring

  • Support contract renewals with financial analysis and negotiation insights

  • Support the transition to our 24-month recurring revenue contract model, building rigour and consistency into our pricing approach as standard models emerge

  • Challenge deals that don't stack up commercially

  • Spot opportunities for better cost efficiency and profitability

  • Analyse tech team utilisation and its impact on long-term business value

  • Provide data-driven insight on resourcing decisions

  • Drive the quarterly forecast and annual budgeting process end-to-end

  • Own commercial forecasting, working with the Land & Expand teams to translate pipeline into reliable revenue projections

  • Build scenario models for forecasts, new business tenders, and strategic opportunities

  • Create dashboards, models, and frameworks that scale with us

  • Help develop a more standardised approach to pricing, deal evaluation, and profitability analysis as our offering matures

  • Work with our systems (HubSpot, financial planning tools) to improve data quality

  • Recommend and implement new tools that enable better commercial finance capabilities

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

  • 3-5 years in finance with commercial exposure - FP&A, business partnering, or commercial finance

  • Understanding of SaaS business models and metrics

  • Strong Excel and financial modelling - you can build complex models from scratch

  • Excellent at data manipulation, interpretation and analysis but equally good at distilling it into compelling, accessible insights

  • Exceptional communication skills - written and verbal

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage competing priorities

  • Natural initiative-taker who spots problems and opportunities without being asked

  • High personal standards for quality and accuracy

Highly Desirable

  • B2B SaaS or high-growth tech company experience

  • Multi-market or European business exposure

  • Data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau)

  • Automotive or leasing sector familiarity

  • Hubspot, Salesforce or CRM exposure
