Jr. Automation Engineer

Job Title: Junior Automation Engineer. City: Mexico City. As Junior Automation Engineer you will help drive innovation in formula automation. You'll manage robotic systems, ensure material supply, and support continuous improvement. This hands-on role offers growth in a creative, high-tech environment. Your key responsibilities * Operate machines and robots following global laboratory best practices and SOPs to deliver oils or application samples according to business priorities and deadlines. * Perform first-level maintenance and simple repair tasks (nominal value checks, cleaning machine parts, etc.) according to global Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). * Report any nonconformity to the supervisor or laboratory manager; propose and test solutions. * Ensure compliance with all QHSS&E procedures and proactively contribute to improving laboratory safety * Request raw materials using MATT to replace materials needed for the robot. * Use data-driven thinking to identify inconsistencies and propose improvements and solutions. * Embrace a culture of continuous improvement and actively participate in LEAN projects * Understand and track performance indicators (KPIs) using all digital tools to meet local targets for automation index, service index, and on-time delivery index You Bring * Bachelor’s degree Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering. * English proficiency is mandatory * 1 – 3 years of previous experience as Automation Engineer in a site production.
