The Delaware Solid Waste Authority is seeking to hire a temporary Landfill Laborer to work with the Landfill Gas staff at our Cherry Island Landfill located in Wilmington, DE. This position has the potential of becoming a regular full time position.
Minimum Starting Payrate: $20.00 per hour.
Job duties include but are not limited to the following duties:
- Assists Wellfield Technician's with modifying landfill gas systems in accordance with system or landfill needs.
- Assists Wellfield Technician's in expanding landfill gas system in accordance with plans.
- Assists Wellfield Technician's in repairs landfill gas system as necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
