ETL Developer III (CT)

Project Details: 

• Headcount - will be working on Teradata to Redshift migration

Must Have Skills:

• Teradata and Redshift data platforms expertise including prior migration experience from Teradata to Redshift
• Strong proficiency in SQL development, including complex query writing, performance tuning, and optimization techniques.
• Proficient in working with relational and multidimensional databases to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data efficiently.
• Unit testing and test case writing/documenting expertise
• Prior Telecom experience. Having experience working with telecom data such as topology considered a plus.
• Analytical and Critical thinker, well organized, and a team player 
• Strong proficiency in data modeling tools and techniques, including dimensional modeling, star schema design, and data warehousing concepts.

Day to day responsibilities:

• Developing and fine tuning IT solutions. This can include anything from coding, testing, debugging, designing or implementing newly developed tools.
• Researching and planning solutions for existing problems within the company.
• Responsible for building online analytical processing (OLAP). They also work with databases, both relational and multidimensional.
• Responsible for managing others in the IT department or in the company.  
• The primary focus of this position is to solve problems, ETL Developer is expected to always be mining data and presenting it in an understandable way. They should be capable of creating tables, writing reports on their findings, and simplify highly technical language for others in the company.
