Sr Analyst III Software Engineering - Life BA

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst with 4 to 8 years of experience in the insurance domain, with hands-on experience in one or more Policy Administration Systems (PAS). The ideal candidate will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business and technology teams to support insurance policy lifecycle operations and system enhancements.

• →Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements for insurance products and processes.
• →Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and product owners to design solutions aligned with business needs.
• →Support implementation and configuration of Policy Administration Systems such as Integral, Life/400, Guidewire Policy Center, Duck Creek, Majesco, or other equivalent platforms.
• →Analyse current workflows and processes and recommend improvements or system changes.
• →Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and requirement documents.
• →Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• →Assist in creating test cases and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• →Provide support during system rollout and post-implementation phases.

• 4 to 8 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in the insurance domain.
• Working knowledge of at least one Policy Administration System (PAS) such as Integral, Life/400, Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, or similar.
• Understanding of the full policy lifecycle—quote, bind, issue, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in writing business and functional requirements, user stories, and process documentation.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or equivalents.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders and technical teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Insurance, or a related field.
• Insurance certifications (e.g., LOMA, AINS, CPCU) or Business Analysis certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) are a plus.
• Exposure to system integration projects, APIs, or digital transformation in insurance.
