Job Title: Fiber Installation Technician - Saratoga Springs

At White Mountain Cable Construction, LLC, as a Senior Technician Fiber Installation, you’ll set up and take care of the fiber optic networks that help connect people. You'll make sure everything runs smoothly, fix any problems, and keep us connected without any interruptions.

Responsibilities

→Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot fiber optic internet, and telephone based on guidelines
→Install, setup and configure all equipment
→Identify and try to remedy sources of customer-perceived issues
→Review all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement
→Educate the customer regarding product and service usage
→Assist & coordinate fiber activities with Construction & Engineering departments
→Construct network infrastructure like bays, racks, and jumper ducts
→Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment
→Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed
→Perform work in all weather conditions
→Other duties as assigned

To be 18 years of age or older
Authorization to work in the United States for this company
High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
Valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
Three years experience with fiber optic cable technology
