At ​Texstar Enterprises, LLC, as a Permitting Specialist, you’ll oversee permit applications, liaise with agencies, and ensure compliance with permitting requirements.

Responsibilities

  • →Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal permitting requirements.
  • →Prepare, review, and submit permit applications to regulatory agencies.
  • →Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and construction, to gather necessary permitting documentation.
  • →Maintain relationships with permitting agencies to facilitate smooth approvals.
  • →Provide guidance to project teams on regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • →Track multiple permits and proactively address potential delays.
  • →Research and analyze permitting trends and regulatory changes affecting the industry.
  • →Assist in responding to permit-related inquiries from government agencies or stakeholders.
  • →Support audits and internal compliance checks related to permits.
  • →Identify process improvements for faster and more efficient permitting workflows.
     
  • To be 18 years of age or older 
  • Minimum 1+ years of relevant work experience, formal trade, or technical skills training
  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company
  • High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or up to two years of basic understanding of permitting processes
  • Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred
  • Routinely: Work alone in remote locations, use keyboard and mouse
  • Occasionally: Climbing stairs, Standing, Walking, operates vehicles
