The Paid Social Lead is a key contributor and leader within the Paid Media team, reporting directly to the Head of Paid Media. This role owns Easygo's paid social strategy end-to-end, across Meta, TikTok, Reddit, Snap, X, and emerging platforms, setting the standard for how we show up, perform, and grow in social channels.

Working in close partnership with Organic Social, Creative, CRM, and Analytics teams, you will ensure paid and organic efforts are unified, and that Easygo's social presence is both compelling and commercially effective.

- Lead the end-to-end paid search operation — campaign architecture, account structure, keyword strategy, match type governance, and trafficking standards across all markets.
- Implement best-in-class campaign structures across Google Search and Apple Search Ads, with a meticulous attention to detail at every level of the account.
- Develop and enforce naming conventions, QA processes, and account hygiene standards to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Collaborate with the Head of Paid Media to define and lead paid search growth strategy.
- Maintain a sharp competitor mindset — actively monitor the search landscape, identify gaps and threats, and adapt strategy accordingly.
- Partner with regional specialists and business stakeholders to translate growth objectives into paid search execution plans.
- Evaluate and pilot emerging search channels to diversify reach and maintain a forward-looking channel mix.
- Establish and govern optimisation frameworks to drive continuous performance improvement.
- Lead smart bidding and automation strategies.
- Oversee budget pacing, forecasting, and spend efficiency; deliver regular performance insights to stakeholders and leadership.
- Maintain test and learn frameworks to drive innovation and best practice.
- In collaboration with the App Specialist develop the search strategy for app acquisition and re-engagement.
- Track and optimise app-specific KPIs.
- Lead ad copy strategy — develop, test, and iterate Responsive Search Ads (RSAs), extensions, and callout frameworks.
- Build and maintain a structured testing roadmap (A/B and multivariate) for messaging, CTAs, and landing page alignment.
- Collaborate with creative and compliance teams to ensure ad copy meets both performance standards and regulatory requirements.
- Work in close partnership with SEO teams to align keyword strategy, share search intelligence, and avoid cannibalisation.
- Contribute to integrated search planning — ensuring paid and organic strategies complement each other and maximise overall SERP presence.
- Share audience and query insights across channels to inform broader marketing strategy.
- Navigate the complexities of advertising in regulated industries — ensuring all campaigns, copy, and targeting practices meet platform policies and applicable legal requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of policy changes across Google, Apple, and emerging platforms; proactively adapt strategy to remain compliant without sacrificing performance.
- Own the SA360 environment — campaign management, Floodlight configuration, bid strategies, and cross-channel reporting.
- Manage relationships with platform representatives (Google, Apple) and third-party tool vendors.
- Evaluate and recommend tools and integrations that improve efficiency and measurement capability.
- Maintain close relationships with our search partners to be aware of first-to-market opportunities.
- Directly manage and mentor the Performance Media Specialist, setting clear objectives, providing regular feedback, and supporting career development.
- Act as the internal centre of excellence for paid search knowledge — upskill stakeholders through documentation, training, and best practice sharing.
- Assist in the hiring of additional reports as the channel scales.
- Serve as the primary paid search point of contact for internal teams including SEO, Analytics, Product, CRM, and Finance.
- Contribute to media planning and budget allocation discussions, providing paid search forecasts and scenario modelling.
- Partner with the data team to ensure robust conversion tracking, attribution, and audience activation.
- 5+ years of hands-on paid search experience, with at least 2 years in a lead, senior, or specialist role.
- Proven experience managing large, complex paid search accounts — high spend, multi-market, or multi-product environments.
- Deep proficiency in Google Ads; SA360 experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Apple Search Ads (Basic and Advanced campaigns).
- Experience running app acquisition campaigns — Apple Search Ads, Google App Campaigns, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to work in close collaboration with SEO teams on integrated search strategy.
- Strong command of conversion tracking, attribution, and analytics tools.

- Familiarity with smart bidding, automation, and scripting within Google Ads or SA360.
