Database Developer

The Database Developer supports and sustains an operational database environment used by a worldwide user base. The role covers database support, SQL development, Trouble Ticket analysis, patch preparation, performance analysis, and secure, compliant operations across production, training, testing and development environments supporting a suite of mission critical software applications.

• →Provide Level 2 and Level 3 database support, resolving issues quickly to minimize impact on the global user base.
• →Develop and test operational patches for deployment to live databases around the world.
• →Capture all database actions in procedures and scripts so they can be reused to sustain the operational database.

Analyze both performance and database structure.

• →Monitor compliance with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and all requirements for protecting Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
• →Support the Continuous Learning Environment by monitoring performance, loading relevant data for training scenarios, and performing other support functions.
• →Help ensure the training environment accurately simulates the production environment.
• →Work with the database team and other stakeholders to support a worldwide user base.
