Graduate Software Engineer

Edgehog Trading is a proprietary trading firm specializing in electronic options market making. We take a technology-driven approach, designing and operating automated, scalable systems to provide liquidity across markets.

• →Complete a 4-week onboarding program covering our trading systems, options fundamentals, and low-latency engineering practices
• →Design, implement, and optimize low-latency C++ applications used to execute trading strategies across CME, ICE, CBOE, and other exchanges
• →Collaborate closely with traders, quants, and other engineers to translate trading ideas into robust, production-ready systems
• →Maintain and improve our existing trading tools and infrastructure, and help build new ones from scratch
• →Contribute to diagnostic assessments and data analysis to help the team prioritize the highest-impact work
• →Work hands-on with our proprietary quoting systems, models, and options-pricing infrastructure
• →Gradually transition into production ownership with senior mentorship and ongoing support

• In your final year of study toward a BA, BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in C++ (or a comparable systems language) and solid computer science fundamentals — data structures, algorithms, and concurrency
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment; familiarity with system-level programming is a plus
• Experience using AI agents to automate tasks and workflows is a plus
• Strong debugging instincts and a bias toward measuring before optimizing
