  • Manage the Accounts Payable Invoice Processing team to ensure invoices are processed accurately, timely, and in compliance with company policies, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and internal controls.
  • Oversee the end-to-end invoice processing activities, including monitoring workload, resolving operational issues, and ensuring service quality.
  • Manage payment planning and execution for the Healthcare, OPUS, and Support Services Business Units, ensuring payments are made according to agreed schedules and funding availability.
  • Coordinate with Treasury, Finance, Procurement, business stakeholders, and vendors to resolve payment-related issues and ensure smooth payment operations.
  • Handle and resolve escalated queries related to invoice processing, payment status, vendor issues, and operational matters for the assigned Business Units.
  • Review and monitor Accounts Payable ageing and outstanding items to ensure timely resolution, minimize overdue balances, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Review and monitor prepayments to ensure timely utilization, reconciliation, and clearance in accordance with company policies and accounting requirements.
  • Review, identify, and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery within the Accounts Payable function.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and performance management to team members to support capability development and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system enhancements, automation initiatives, and process improvement projects affecting Accounts Payable operations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, audit requirements, tax regulations, and statutory requirements, including e-Invoicing where applicable.
  • Prepare and review operational reports, payment status updates, and management reports as required.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities and ensure month end close successfully.
  • Act as the backup for the Senior Manager during periods of absence by approving payments within the delegated authority, managing operational matters, attending meetings, and responding to business and management queries to ensure continuity of operations.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or equivalent.          
  • Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MICPA) is preferred.
  • 6–8 years in AP or Finance Shared Services.
  • Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role (minimum 2 team members).
  • Possess strong accounting and Accounts Payables (AP) knowledge.
  • Experienced in stakeholders’ management (internal and external).
  • Able to work independently, a strong team player, and meeting tight datelines. 
  • Good communication in both oral and writing skills (English and Bahasa Malaysia).
