Responsibilities

→Design and develop road and highway alignments using MX Road, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD.
→Prepare engineering drawings, detailed designs, quantity take-offs, bills of quantities (BQ), and design reports.
→Develop practical, buildable, and cost-effective engineering solutions while ensuring compliance with technical standards and client requirements.
→Conduct site assessments, evaluate design options, and prepare preliminary design reports and cost estimates.
→Contribute to technical proposals, tender submissions, specifications, and engineering recommendations for new and ongoing projects.
→Review engineering drawings and design reports, providing technical recommendations to ensure high-quality deliverables.
→Support the preparation of contract documentation, including design revisions and construction drawings.
→Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to monitor project progress, resolve design challenges, and ensure timely project delivery.
→Prepare technical reports, presentations, correspondence, and other project documentation.
→Maintain quality standards by ensuring all engineering deliverables are accurate, complete, and compliant with project requirements.
→Undertake other responsibilities as assigned by the HOD or Line Manager.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
8–10 years’ experience in road and highway design, ideally with involvement in large-scale transportation infrastructure projects.
Hands-on experience leading end-to-end highway design delivery, ensuring technical quality, constructability, and compliance with standards.
A strong team player with excellent communication skills, leadership capability, and high attention to detail.
