IBDP & IGCSE Biology Teacher Organisation: EdTech Location: Mumbai – Juhu, Goregaon & JVLR Department: Academics Reporting To: Head of Academic Operations Role Focus Teaching, Assessment & Student Academic Progress. Key Skills Required Explain complex Biology concepts clearly and accurately. Differentiate teaching according to student ability and diagnose misconceptions. Design lesson plans, worksheets, tests and revision material. Assess student performance and provide actionable feedback. Prepare students for IBDP & IGCSE examinations. Strong scientific reasoning, experimental data interpretation and classroom management skills. Effective parent communication and use of LMS/academic trackers. Subject Knowledge Cell Biology, Membranes, Transport & Microscopy Molecular Biology, Enzymes, Respiration & Photosynthesis Genetics, Inheritance, Gene Expression & Biotechnology Human Physiology & Homeostasis Ecology, Evolution, Biodiversity & Conservation Plant Biology Experimental Design, Data Analysis & Scientific Evaluation IBDP Internal Assessment & Scientific Communication. Roles & Responsibilities Academic Planning & Curriculum Delivery Classroom Teaching & Student Engagement Assessment & Examination Preparation Student Progress Tracking & Intervention Homework & Academic Discipline Practical Learning & Academic Documentation Parent Communication & Collaboration Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's/Master's degree in Biology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or related discipline. Strong senior-secondary Biology knowledge and excellent English communication. Ability to teach through English. Prior IBDP/IGCSE teaching experience and IB/Cambridge training preferred.
