Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Develop and produce control system design drawings and models using Revit.
- →Support the design of building automation and control systems for HVAC and related systems under the guidance of senior engineers.
- →Assist with layout, schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel designs for control systems.
- →Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and other disciplines to ensure integrated and consistent design delivery.
- →Contribute to low-voltage system design efforts, including controls, fire alarm, and related systems as needed.
- →Update and maintain project documentation, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project standards.
- →Support design reviews by incorporating feedback and making necessary revisions.
- →Assist with the preparation of submittals, as-built drawings, and commissioning documentation.
- →Follow internal QA/QC processes and applicable industry standards and codes.
Requirements
~1 min read- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field, is preferred (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3+ years of experience in controls design, building systems, or extra low-voltage systems.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit is required - not less than 1 year of constant using.
- Basic understanding of BAS/BMS systems, DDC controls, and integration with HVAC systems.
- Exposure to fire alarm and/or other low-voltage systems (security, communications) is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment and support multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow technical direction.
- Perform on high-profile, hyperscale, and AI data center projects in a rapidly expanding industry.
- Collaborate with leading professionals and global clients such as Microsoft, Oracle, Uber, and Amazon.
