Ehvert Engineering a Salas O'Brien company

We are seeking a skilled ICT Engineer as an independent contract worker to support the design and coordination of cutting-edge data center projects across the U.S. In this role you will support the design and documentation of control systems for mission-critical projects, including large-scale data centers. This role is focused on developing high-quality design deliverables in close coordination with controls engineers and multidisciplinary teams. There is a strong emphasis on Revit-based design, as well as supporting broader low-voltage systems, including fire alarm, where applicable. This position is well-suited for someone with a solid technical foundation who can contribute to production work and help scale project delivery.

• →Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field is preferred (or equivalent practical experience).

• →3−6+ years of experience in controls design, building systems, or low-voltage systems.

• →Proficiency in Revit is strongly preferred; experience with AutoCAD required.

• →Basic understanding of BAS/BMS systems, DDC controls, and integration with HVAC systems.

• →Exposure to fire alarm and/or other low-voltage systems (security, communications) is a plus.

• →Detail-oriented with strong organizational and coordination skills.

• →Able to work effectively in a team environment and support multiple projects simultaneously.

• →Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• →Ability to multi-task and prioritize while meeting project deadlines

• →Self-starters that are ambitious and thrive in a fast-paced environment

• →Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner

• Perform on high-profile, hyperscale, and AI data center projects in a rapidly expanding industry
