Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in a financial role providing business support or controllership to business partners.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial information, calculate production costs and apply accounting and tax processes.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP, financial controls and SOX requirements.
- Strong analytical, financial process and problem-solving skills, with the communication, interpersonal and influencing skills required to work with varied audiences and senior leaders; advanced and fluent English.
- Strong technical and analytical capability using financial tools such as Power BI and Excel.
- Experience working with SAP or another Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Exposure to forecasting, planning, financial reporting and product costing methodologies.
- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams including Operations, Research and Development, Procurement, Finance and Sales and Marketing.
- Ability to connect financial results with operational performance drivers, develop alternatives and support positive change across different cultures and management styles.
As part of the Elanco External Manufacturing Americas and Argenta Hub Finance team, you will support manufacturing operations through financial analysis, reporting, planning and business partnering. You will help ensure strong financial governance, accurate accounting and informed decision-making while identifying opportunities to improve gross margin and business performance.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead financial analysis, reporting and interpretation of manufacturing performance, including monthly and quarterly forecasting, business planning and communication of results to Hub and corporate leadership.
- →Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial close activities, ensuring that financial accounts provide a true and fair view of the business and comply with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), Elanco policies and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
- →Provide financial control and oversight for company assets, including inventory and fixed assets, and ensure accurate product costing and inventory valuation in line with company policies.
- →Partner with manufacturing leaders and cross-functional finance teams to evaluate demand, production capabilities, headcount, expenses, investments and other business decisions, ensuring risks and compliance requirements are understood.
- →Coach non-financial colleagues on financial matters, support Lean Manufacturing processes and represent Finance in operational meetings and business improvement initiatives.
