Manufacturing Associate Intern – Winslow, Maine (Summer 2027)

• Education: Currently enrolled in a Life Sciences major or an Engineering major including (but not limited to) Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Process
• Top Skills: Experience in Microsoft Suites and a willingness to learn

• Prior internship or professional experience in a life-science industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Must be able to work exceptionally well independently and with minimal supervision

As a Summer 2027 Technical Services and Manufacturing Sciences (TSMS) Intern with Elanco Animal Health, you will be part of the TSMS team at our Winslow, Maine manufacturing plant, contributing to a hands-on technical project focused on improving processes, solving business challenges, and supporting operational and technical excellence.

• →Understand the Animal Health Manufacturing process, document using GMP guidelines, and understand the importance of the Quality Unit 
• →Work within cross-functional teams to implement processes or  lab improvements 
• →Learn about upstream antigen manufacturing (i.e. fermentation, viral manufacturing), downstream manufacturing ( i.e. lyophilization and blending), quality control, sterility assurance, or vaccine packaging.
• →Study design improvement processes 

• Travel: 10% - to corporate facility in Indianapolis, IN for opening/closing
• Location: Winslow Manufacturing Plant, Winslow, ME

• Competitive Salary: $20-$40/hour (dependent upon major and year in school)
