Chemistry Teacher

We are looking for a Chemistry Teacher for an international high school based in Foshan, Guangdong province. This is a full-time position starting in August 2026.

The prestigious international boarding school, established in Foshan's Shunde district, provides comprehensive education for K-12 students, encompassing primary, middle and high school divisions. Boasting more than 4,800 students and 700 faculty members, including approximately 100 international teachers, this school is the first in China to offer a continuum of IB PYP, MYP and DP programs, as well as IGCSE, A-Level and AP courses.

Job details

• Provide chemistry courses to high school students utilizing the A-Level frame, ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

• Bachelor's degree or higher majoring in the relevant subject
• Minimum of two years teaching experience
• Teaching certifications preferred
• Previous experience in an international school preferred
• Eligible to apply the work visa
