High School English Teacher

We are looking for an English Teacher for a Private High School based in Beijing. This position is available from the upcoming 2026/27 academic year in February or August 2026.

Offering boarding and day school facilities, it caters to students in primary, middle, and high school levels, encompassing both local and international students. With a diverse community of over 500 staff from various countries and regions, the institution presently houses 75 classes and over 2000 students.

Job details

• Teach the school’s English subject to high school students utlizing the IB framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Prepare lessons, lectures, tutoring techniques
• Designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Co-teach with fellow teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum
• Support the program coordinators in the maintenance of an accurate inventory of educational resources
• Use a wide range of technologies and creative teaching and learning methodologies to accommodate differing learning styles
• Assess and monitor students' progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve

• More than 2 years’ full-time in class teaching experience
• IB School teaching experience is preferred
• Bachelor degree and above in language or education field, with a teaching credential
• outstanding communication skills
