Kindergarten English Teacher

We are looking for a Kindergarten English Teacher for the kindergarten division of an international school in Shuangliu, Chengdu. This position is available from July 2027 for the 2027/28 academic year.

Located in a modern, high-tech district of southwest Chengdu, this spacious and well-equipped campus offers both international and bilingual curricula, serving students from Pre-K through Grade 11, with plans to expand to Grade 12. The area is known for its green spaces, easy access to the airport, and proximity to Chengdu’s rich cultural and culinary heritage, providing a vibrant and dynamic environment for both students and staff.

Job Responsibilities

• Teach English to kindergarten students through engaging, age-appropriate lessons and play-based activities
• Develop children’s listening, speaking and early literacy skills through stories, songs, games and classroom interaction
• Prepare learning materials and activities that support children’s language, social and emotional development
• Observe and document children’s progress and provide constructive feedback to parents
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons and establish consistent classroom routines
• Maintain a safe, caring and inclusive learning environment

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least two years of experience as a lead classroom teacher
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience working in a bilingual setting preferred
