Responsibilities

→Promptly install, inspect, replace, and repair machinery to ensure smooth operations
→Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment, including minor electrical repairs and welding tasks
→Retrieve parts as needed using the maintenance van (personal vehicle may be used; mileage reimbursed)
→Adhere to maintenance schedules and suggest improvements to optimize cost, quality, and service; report any irregularities to the supervisor
→Read and interpret technical drawings and electrical code specifications for industrial equipment installation
→Install, inspect, replace, and repair electrical wiring, receptacles, conduits, switch boxes, feeders, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components
→Maintain, repair, test, and install electrical motors, as well as hydraulic and pneumatic control systems
→Consistently follow proper lockout/tag-out procedures to ensure safe operation of all machinery
