Pay: Salaried $70,000 to $75,000 per year
Work Type: On-site
Shift:  Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Elevate is recruiting a Floor Supervisor for a growing manufacturing operation in the Bolton area. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in their team, their plant and their results, and who wants to build a crew as the business expands.

What you will do

• Lead daily production across two plants on one site, assigning trained workers to each task
• Enforce safe work practices, PPE, guarding and housekeeping, and manage incidents with care for your people
• Lead and coach the changeover crew to hit industry standard times
• Investigate line stoppages and follow corrective actions through to completion
• Verify daily production reports, downtime, scrap and output
• Work closely with maintenance on equipment issues and safe work windows
• Develop your team through coaching, cross training and skills tracking
• Spend most of your day on the floor with your crew

Must Haves:

• Proven experience leading and developing industrial production teams
• A track record of being accountable for results and the KPIs that measure them
• Strong health and safety knowledge, with the ability to meet Ontario competent supervisor requirements
• A hands-on style that teaches and raises the standard rather than accepting the status quo
• Experience over education, with references who can speak to your leadership
• Comfort with production reports and spreadsheets
• Metals, tube or manufacturing changeover experience is an asset
