We’re hiring a senior HR leader to work at the intersection of people, performance, and business outcomes. This is not a traditional HR role. It’s a company-building role.

You will work closely with founders and leaders to build an organisation where ambitious, high-agency people can do the best work of their lives. This role requires someone who deeply understands people and equally thinks from first principles with a business-first mindset.

What You’ll Do:
- Partner closely with founders and leadership teams on hiring, organisational design, performance, and talent decisions.
- Build systems and processes that enable exceptional people to operate with clarity, ownership, and speed.
- Drive a high-performance culture where incentives, rewards, and outcomes are meaningfully aligned.
- Act as a strategic thought partner on people-related decisions across teams and functions.
- Identify high-potential talent and create environments where they can thrive and scale rapidly.
- Ensure teams remain focused on work that materially moves the business forward.
- Lead and evolve performance management, feedback, compensation, and growth frameworks.
- Build strong hiring principles and talent density across the organisation.
- Navigate ambiguity and make clear, high-quality judgment calls on people and team dynamics.
- Create scalable people systems without introducing unnecessary process or bureaucracy.
- Work cross-functionally with leaders across hiring, operations, finance, and business teams.
- Operate with urgency, discretion, and a high degree of ownership in a fast-moving environment.
- 7+ years of experience across HR, People Operations, Talent, or organisational leadership roles in high-growth environments.
- Strong business acumen and ability to think beyond traditional HR frameworks.
- Deep understanding of people, motivation, performance, and team dynamics.
- High-agency operator who is comfortable making decisions independently and driving outcomes.
- Able to balance empathy with high standards and clear accountability.
- Exceptional judgment and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous, and constantly evolving environments.
- Someone who cares deeply about building teams, culture, and organisational excellence.
- Low ego, highly trusted, and capable of influencing across all levels of the company.
- Not about maintaining legacy processes.
- Not about optimising for comfort over performance.
- Not about playing it safe or operating by convention.
- Not a purely administrative or support-oriented HR role.
- Experience building people functions in startup or hypergrowth environments.
- Exposure to founder-led or product-driven organisations.
- Experience designing compensation, performance, and talent systems from scratch.
- Strong intuition for hiring exceptional talent across functions and seniority levels.
