As a Stock Plan Services Associate, you will support the day-to-day operations of Empower's stock plan services platform. You'll process transactions, resolve operational issues, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate, compliant, and efficient service for clients and participants.
Responsibilities

Process stock plan transactions including plan setup, participant account reviews, reconciliations, and issue resolution

Support equity transactions related to RSU vestings, ESPP events, option exercises, and 10b5-1 instructions
- →
Initiate and monitor DWAC and DTC transfers while coordinating with clearing firms to ensure accurate settlement
- →
Reconcile trade executions, allocations, and participant accounts across multiple platforms
- →
Research and resolve operational, trading, and account-related exceptions
- →
Partner with internal stakeholders to support stock plan trading activities and operational readiness
- →
Support audits, compliance requests, process improvements, and daily service activities to deliver an exceptional client experience

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent financial services experience
- →
2+ years of experience in financial services, preferably in stock plan services, brokerage operations, or trading support
- →
FINRA Series 7 registration and fingerprinting required
- →
Experience with stock plan administration, equity trading, or brokerage operations
- →
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and SharePoint

Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
- →
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of options trading and related market activity
Experience supporting trading operations and transaction processing
Experience with Pershing NetX360
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and organizational levels
Strong problem-solving skills and sound operational judgment
Commitment to continuous process improvement and operational excellence
Ability to work independently while maintaining a client-focused mindset
