Mobile Developer

Our client in Port Elizabeth is looking for a talented and creative Mobile Developer to join their dynamic team! As a Mobile Developer you will be responsible for building and maintaining sleek and powerful mobile applications for both Android and IOS platforms. You will be responsible for: Designing and developing mobile applications for IOS and Android, from concept to deployment. Collaborating with UX/UI designers and backend developers to create seamless, user-friendly experiences. Optimizing app performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve the app lifecycle. Staying ahead of industry trends and leveraging the latest mobile technologies. Requirements Requirements: Proven experience in Mobile App Development (IOS/Android). A combination of the below skills will be preferable: Ionic Framework (with Angular): Experience in building cross-platform mobile apps using Ionic and Angular. React Native & Expo: Expertise in developing apps using React Native, including Expo for rapid development and deployment. TypeScript: Proficiency in TypeScript for building robust and scalable applications. REST APIs: Experience in integrating and working with RESTful APIs for seamless app functionality. Firebase: Hands-on experience with Firebase for authentication, real-time database, cloud storage, and other backend services. App Deployment: Knowledge of deploying apps to App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android), including compliance with their respective guidelines. Push Notifications: Experience in implementing push notifications using Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for Android and Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) for iOS. Offline-First Development: Expertise in developing apps that support offline functionality using SQLite or other local storage solutions. Authentication: Familiarity with various authentication methods, including OAuth, JWT, and SSO (Single Sign-On), to secure and manage user sessions.
