Demonstration Plant Operator (Rolling Basis)

The Role

The Demonstration Plant Operator operates, monitors, maintains, and troubleshoots demonstration equipment. We welcome all interested candidates to apply. Our ideal candidate will be willing to learn new things, be dedicated to the running and production of the plant, and can remain flexible throughout the training period and with shift assignments. As we work together to move commercialization forward, candidates should be informed of the following while considering the position:

• This is a contract position to start. We work closely with a third-party consultant to help ensure all contractors receive medical, dental, and vision benefits, as well as a 401(k)
• The job includes on-the-job training for all functions.

Key Responsibilities

Demonstration Plant Operations

The position will work under a shift lead and work in a team of 8 people. Training will be included. 

Administration

Instrument readouts are recorded and reported to a supervisor. The position requires showing up on time for the shift and notifying a supervisor if they are unable to make their shift. Working night shifts is available; individuals may need to fill in a rare night shift for a colleague. 

Basic Qualifications

• Willingness to follow safety rules and conduct work in a safe manner
• Self-directed and motivated
• Must be capable of standing throughout the working day
• Must be capable of lifting 25 lbs

• Competitive hourly range ($20 - $30 per hour based on experience, and shift)
