EnerMech is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Supervisor Mechanical professionals for upcoming shutdown and maintenance project opportunities throughout the Gladstone region. 

This opportunity is suited to hands-on mechanical leaders with strong experience supervising site-based maintenance, shutdown, breakdown, and project work across heavy industrial environments. 

As a Supervisor Mechanical, you will lead mechanical work crews on site, ensuring scopes are delivered safely, efficiently, and to quality expectations across planned maintenance, shutdowns, and project activities. 

Key responsibilities include: 

• Supervising mechanical works across shutdowns, maintenance, breakdowns, and project scopes 

• Leading site crews and coordinating subcontractors where required 

• Planning daily work activities, resources, materials, and priorities 

• Preparing and supporting job packs, work fronts, and handover documentation 

• Monitoring safety, quality, productivity, and schedule performance 

• Liaising with clients, project managers, site leadership, and support teams 

• Driving compliance with HSE, quality, and site requirements 

• Supporting continuous improvement and a strong safety-first culture 

• Demonstrated experience in a Mechanical Supervisor or similar site leadership role 
• Minimum 5 years’ supervision experience across mechanical or engineering scopes 
• Experience within oil and gas, mining, LNG, power generation, resources, or heavy industrial environments 
• Nationally recognised mechanical trade qualification, such as Mechanical Fitter or equivalent 
• Strong planning, problem-solving, and decision-making capability 
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage crews safely and effectively 
• Strong commitment to Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality standards 
• Recent Police Clearance
• Full Australian Working Rights
• Current Driver’s Licence 
• Relevant site inductions, high-risk tickets, confined space, working at heights, and first aid tickets highly regarded
