Position Summary
The key responsibilities of the Program Assistant position include:
Manage program registrations, attendee tracking, and evaluations
Administer online and in-person courses (Moodle, Zoom), including setup, enrollment, and completion tracking
Provide administrative support for programs, projects, services, and events (scheduling, correspondence, materials distribution)
Respond to inquiries and resolve issues from members, partners, and the public
Coordinate distribution of manuals, resources, and program materials
Support communications and marketing activities, including digital content and social media scheduling
Maintain membership records, process applications, and support member communications and engagement
Monitor membership data, support reporting, and assist with outreach and chapter coordination
Provide general administrative support, including records management, office operations, and support to leadership and Board activities
Qualifications
We are looking for self-motivated professional who can surface efficiencies, learn on the fly, communicate well, and enjoys problem solving in a team environment. We are looking for someone with post-secondary training in Office Administration, Finance Administration, Business Administration or a related field with a minimum of two years’ experience and demonstrated ability to:
Proficiently use the technology inherent of the work including: Office 365, databases, PowerPoint and Sage Accounting software;
Skillfully communicate in writing and orally;
Accurately complete accounts receivables and financial tasks;
Research and analyze issues and identify solutions;
Provide top-notch customer service;
Support project or program teams; and
Maintain databases (e.g. volunteer/contractor/ membership).
Please note, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Understanding of the local and First Nations government systems in BC is an asset.
This position is full time at 35 hours per week. The compensation range for this position is $39.62 /hour ($72,108.40 annually) in addition to a comprehensive benefit package and flexible working hours.
