Bruker Life Science Mass Spectrometry Division in China is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Application Manager to join our dynamic team and drive the growth of our mass spectrometry product portfolio.

• →Team Leadership & Development: this manager position is to lead, mentor, and develop a small molecules application scientist team in China. Manage performance and build a high-performing application organization. This team’s applications including metabolomics and applied, technical platforms including High-Resolution LC/GC-MS, LC/GC/DART-QQQ, as well as Bruker solutions from sample preparation to data analysis.
• →Regional Application Strategy: Define and execute China metabolomics and small molecule application strategy in alignment with global BU objectives; prioritize application areas, demo strategies, and resource allocation to maximize business impact.
• →Technical Leadership: Oversee comprehensive technical support for metabolomics and other small molecule-related applications; act as the regional technical authority, addressing escalated issues and challenges faced by users, and ensuring alignment with global BU teams to deliver Bruker solutions and technologies to Chinese customers.
• →Marketing & Thought Leadership: Direct marketing campaigns, including seminars, workshops, and roadshows; deliver technical presentations in Chinese (primarily) and English, representing Bruker as a technical expert in the metabolomics community.
• →Demonstration & Business Support: Lead the demonstration strategy for metabolomics applications, including analysis of sample sets and reporting results to prospective customers; manage key projects to support the commercial sales team and influence customer decisions through advanced technical information and presentation skills.
• →KOL & Collaboration Management: Build and manage strategic partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders and lead collaboration projects in accordance with customer and market demands; strengthen Bruker's scientific presence in China.

• Master’s degree or Ph.D degree in Chemistry, Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• 6–10 years of hands-on mass spectrometry experience, with deep expertise in metabolomics, including sample preparation, sample analysis, and data analysis; strong familiarity with metabolomics software. Experience with metabolomic library build-up is a strong advantage.
• Experience with Bruker MS instrumentation is considered a significant advantage.
• Proven people’s management experience (3+ years) with demonstrated success in leading technical teams; experience managing in a matrixed, multinational environment is preferred.
• Highly motivated, team player, quick learner, self-starter and problem solver.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; confident presenter able to engage with KOLs, executives, and customers at all levels.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment; adept at dissecting complex problems into manageable tasks.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
