Manager, Solutions Engineering

The Role: 

The Manager, is responsible for leading the development of PTFE filtration products for aggressive liquid applications in the semiconductor industry. This individual will manage product development activities, oversee laboratory evaluations, and partner closely with customers to define requirements, support product qualifications, and resolve technical challenges. The role requires strong technical expertise, project leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to drive innovation, accelerate time-to-market, and support business growth in strategic filtration markets. 

In this role you will: 

• Develop deep expertise in Entegris aggressive liquid filtration technologies and drive product strategy for PTFE-based solutions. 

• Lead new product development projects from concept to commercialization, working closely with R&D, Applications, Quality, Manufacturing, and Product Management teams. 

• Engage with customers to drive product evaluations, identify unmet needs, and align development priorities with market requirements. 

• Plan and oversee laboratory testing, product validation, and technical investigations to support product development and customer qualifications. 

• Develop test methods and generate technical data to demonstrate product performance and support business growth. 

• Lead root cause analysis and provide technical solutions for product and customer challenges. 

• Publish technical findings through application notes, technical conferences, and industry journals. 

• Mentor and develop engineering talent while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence. 

Traits we believe make a strong candidate: 

• Strong technical leadership, problem-solving, and product development capabilities; advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) preferred. 

• Deep knowledge of filtration technologies, materials science, and PTFE-based products for aggressive chemical applications. 

• Experience in semiconductor wet process applications. 

• Proven track record in new product development, product qualification, and commercialization. 

• Strong customer-facing experience with semiconductor fabs (IDM/Foundry) and OEMs, with the ability to translate customer needs into product strategies. 

• Effective project management and cross-functional leadership skills in a global environment. 

• Experience mentoring and developing engineering teams. 

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills. 

• Fluent in English, with excellent communication and presentation skills. 

• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant industry experience, including leadership responsibilities in product development or applications engineering.
