Warehouse Supervisor (1st Shift)

Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, material movement, and shipping

Lead and develop a team of material handlers and logistics technicians, including scheduling, training, and performance management

Coordinate outbound shipments by scheduling carriers, preparing shipping documentation, and ensuring materials are staged and communicated as ready to support on-time delivery

Ensure safety compliance with OSHA, chemical handling standards, and company policies

Oversee raw material and chemical receiving processes, ensuring accuracy, proper documentation, and compliance

Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting, auditing, and system transactions (SAP preferred)

Coordinate with Logistics Manager, production, planning, and quality teams to ensure material availability and flow

Monitor warehouse KPIs (inventory accuracy, productivity, on-time receiving/shipping) and implement corrective actions

Ensure proper storage, labeling, and segregation of hazardous and non-hazardous materials

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflows, space utilization, and labor efficiency

Enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain documentation accuracy

Support transportation coordination by ensuring timely staging and communication of material readiness

Serve as escalation point for operational issues and resolve problems in real time

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred

3–7 years of warehouse or logistics experience, with 1–3 years in a supervisory or lead role

Experience in manufacturing or chemical handling environments strongly preferred

Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) and warehouse operations processes

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and hold team members accountable

Knowledge of inventory control practices, cycle counting, and material flow

Understanding of safety and compliance requirements, especially related to hazardous materials

Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities in a fast-paced environment

Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally

Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
