Generative AI is changing how creative work gets made. At Envato, we’re building for that shift.
We help millions of creative professionals find the assets and tools they need to create. Now we’re bringing generative AI deeper into that experience, helping customers generate, edit and customise content as part of their everyday workflows.
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager - GenAI to help turn that opportunity into products creative professionals genuinely want to use.
This is a role for someone who is already deep in the world of GenAI. You’re using the tools, exploring new models and paying attention to what is changing. You’re curious about what the technology can do, but just as interested in whether it solves a real customer problem.
You’ll work within Envato’s broader GenAI strategy, owning a defined product area and taking initiatives from discovery through to launch and iteration.
You’ll spend time understanding customer problems, exploring product opportunities and working out where generative AI can meaningfully improve creative workflows. That means using customer research, product data, experimentation and your own hands on understanding of GenAI to make decisions about what we should build, test, improve or stop.
You’ll get hands on with the technology too. You’ll experiment with emerging models, use AI to explore concepts and prototype ideas, and build a practical understanding of what different models can and can’t do.
Then you’ll work closely with Design and Engineering to turn the strongest ideas into high quality experiences, balancing creative quality and customer experience with model performance, reliability, scale and cost.
And the work doesn’t stop at launch. You’ll define how success is measured, understand how customers are actually using what we build and use evidence to keep improving it.
You’re an experienced Product Manager who has owned complex customer facing product initiatives from discovery through to launch and iteration, ideally in SaaS, technology or AI.
You have strong practical fluency in generative AI and generative media. You understand models, APIs and emerging capabilities well enough to work closely with technical teams, and you’re comfortable using AI yourself to prototype, explore and test ideas.
You’re also interested in creative people and how creative work actually happens. Our customers are designers, filmmakers, editors and creators. You need to understand the difference between an AI output that looks impressive in a demo and one that is actually useful in professional creative work. Experience with creative products or tools would be particularly valuable.
You can take customer, technical and commercial information and turn it into clear priorities and product decisions. You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity, making trade offs and working autonomously without needing every step mapped out for you.
You’ll work closely with teams across Product, Design and Engineering, so you’ll also need to communicate clearly, build alignment and bring people with you.
