Senior Legal Counsel (Generalist)

• →Act as a legal generalist and key partner to internal teams – compliance, operations, finance, technology
• →Own regulatory implementation projects: internal policies, compliance frameworks (including DORA in Malta), ongoing regulatory reporting
• →Lead legal side of new market entry: entity setup, licensing, engagement with local regulators and consultants
• →Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, including complex non-standard contracts in new markets
• →Advise on employment and HR matters across multiple legal entities, including labour law and employment-related contracts
• →Manage external counsels where specialist advice is needed

• Qualified lawyer, 7+ years of experience – in-house, law firm, or both
• Experience in a regulated or licensed business is a strong plus
• You handle a wide range of legal matters independently and to deadline
• You enjoy long, process-heavy projects – the result is a clean, compliant operation, not a headline deal
• Advanced user of modern AI tools; you use them daily
• Clear communicator - you explain complex things simply
