MEDS is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician Leader to serve as Medical Director of Emergency Medicine at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia, IL. This is an outstanding opportunity for a physician who enjoys clinical practice while helping lead a strong emergency medicine team and building meaningful relationships with hospital administration and staff.

• Medical Director role with protected leadership responsibilities
• Continue practicing clinically while leading your department
• 24 hours of physician coverage

• Strong specialty backup including cardiology, orthopedics, surgery, OB/GYN, and pediatrics

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Strong clinical skills and commitment to quality patient care
• Previous leadership experience preferred
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Passion for developing teams and improving emergency care delivery
