Virtual Psychologist

The Virtual Psychologist conducts individual and group therapy (adults, children and adolescents) on topics such as mood, anxiety, stress and eating disorders; conducts family therapy and/or family education sessions; develops each patient’s individualized treatment plan; and works with interdisciplinary treatment team to implement the plan. All sessions are conducted within a HIPAA compliant telehealth platform, following established protocols. This position is remote.

• →Conducts individual psychotherapy, group therapy and family therapy
• →For each patient on case load, complete clinical paperwork and administrative tasks including:

• →Treatment plans
• →Individual and Family Therapy progress notes and group notes
• →Aftercare plan
• →Discharge summary
• →Regular communication with patient's outpatient community provider(s)

• →Conducts comprehensive assessments and treatment planning for each patient on case load:
  • →Completes psychosocial, self-harm, pain and suicide assessments
  • →Creates individualized treatment plans with specific and measurable goals in collaboration with treatment team members
  • →Creates therapeutic treatment agreements or behavioral support plans as needed
  • →Holds therapeutic team meeting with patient to address any concerns, if needed

• →Attends treatment team meetings and treatment team rounds to coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary team
• →May provide training and guidance to less experienced teammates

• Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD) or Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in Psychology from an APA Accredited program
• Currently a licensed Psychologist residing in a Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PsyPact) State
• Passed Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology (EPPP)
• Minimum 2-4 years' experience conducting psychotherapy
• Ability to move from one group assignment, line of service, and/or ages served to the next with ease – flexibility
• Collaborative nature, strong communication - multi-disciplinary team
• Engaging and skilled in navigating video interactions
• Familiarity with or ability to easily and quickly learn required technology including a video meeting platform, EMHR, and other computer programs
