Graduate AI/ML and Data Engineer (m/f/d)

We are looking for a talented graduate to join our AI development team and learn practical AI/ML and data engineering skills. You will work on real data pipelines, explore machine learning models, and gain hands-on experience in building AI solutions for Ericsson's 5G networks. This is a great opportunity to start your career with guidance from experienced engineers. You will be part of a collaborative AI development team working on cutting-edge AI and data technologies. You will receive mentorship and guidance from senior engineers while working on real projects. You will learn the full lifecycle of data and AI systems—from design to production! You will * Learn and work with data pipelines using REST APIs, gRPC, and Kafka * Support ETL process development and data transformation tasks * Explore and develop machine learning models using Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch * Perform data preprocessing and feature engineering for ML projects * Work with different types of databases (SQL, NoSQL, vector databases) * Learn data processing with PySpark for larger datasets * Participate in data quality and validation practices * Explore and support MLOps implementation and model monitoring * Participate in code reviews and learn from senior team members * Collaborate with mentors and team on solving real data challenges To be successful in the role you must have * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field * Strong Python, Java and C++ programming skills and passion for learning * Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms * Familiarity with databases and SQL basics * Good problem-solving skills and logical thinking * Ability to learn quickly and take on new technical challenges * Good communication skills in English * Willingness to work in a team and receive feedback We also hope to see the following characteristics in you * Passionate about learning AI and machine learning * Enjoy working with data and solving data-driven problems * Curious and eager to explore new technologies * Willing to learn and tackle technical challenges * Enjoy collaborating with teammates and asking questions * Interested in distributed systems and scalability * Growth mindset and want to develop your skills * Interested in telecom or networking technologies Additional beneficial experience * Experience with Python libraries like pandas, numpy, or scikit-learn * Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow) * Basic knowledge of Git and version control * Understanding of REST APIs or microservices concepts * Any personal projects involving data analysis or machine learning * Exposure to Docker or containerization concepts * Knowledge of SQL and relational databases * Hackathon or internship experience What's in it for you?
