Storage and Backup Engineer with Rubrik

## Join our Team About this opportunity We are looking for a Storage and Backup Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise storage and data protection solutions across on-premises and cloud environments. You will play a key role in ensuring data availability, integrity, backup reliability, and disaster recovery readiness, with a strong focus on Rubrik Backup Administration and Management. What you will do Administer, configure, upgrade, and maintain Rubrik CDM clusters, including networking, security, replication, archival, and cloud integrations. Manage backup and recovery operations, monitor backup jobs, and ensure successful data protection and restoration. Implement and test disaster recovery strategies, conduct DR drills, and support data retention and compliance requirements. Perform storage provisioning, capacity planning, performance optimization, and system health monitoring. Troubleshoot storage, backup, and recovery issues in critical production environments. Collaborate with virtualization, cloud, and infrastructure teams to deliver integrated backup solutions. Automate operational tasks using scripting tools and maintain accurate technical documentation. You will bring Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, with 5–7 years of experience in storage and backup administration. Strong expertise in Rubrik Backup Administration and Management (mandatory), including Rubrik CDM architecture, cluster operations, distributed filesystem, metadata management, snapshots, and scale-out architectures. Experience with enterprise backup technologies such as Veeam, Veritas NetBackup, or Commvault. Good understanding of backup methodologies, disaster recovery concepts (RPO/RTO), storage management, and data protection best practices. Familiarity with VMware, Hyper-V, Windows, Linux, networking fundamentals, and cloud backup solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Knowledge of automation and scripting tools such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to support mission-critical environments. “All academic credentials must be from recognized and accredited institutions and are further subject to verification".
