We are now looking for software developers and test engineers to join our RAN Services teams in Linköping. Over time, this role also offers the possibility to grow toward technical leadership or broader leadership responsibilities. Ericsson’s RAN Services organization in Linköping develops and evolves software intelligence for 5G and 6G networks, across both purpose-built and Cloud RAN solutions. Our work supports critical network capabilities such as signalling, mobility, user-plane traffic and advanced RAN functionality. What you will do: • Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools to support software development, test creation, debugging, documentation, and code review activities. • Explore and contribute to AI/ML-enabled features that may be implemented in the product. • Collaborate with other system engineers, architects, testers and product owners to turn requirements into working solutions. • Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, continuous improvement and modern development practices. The skills you bring: • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or Go. • Experience in software design, development, debugging, integration, and verification. • Familiarity with common software development tools and practices, including Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines. • Foundational understanding of AI and machine learning concepts. • Ability to use AI-assisted development tools critically and responsibly. • Experience working in Linux-based development environments. • An interest in technology, our products and the role they play in future communication networks. • Basic understanding of project management principles and agile development methodologies. • M.Sc or B.Sc education in Computer Science or the equivalent level of knowledge Pre-offer checks including references and relevant background screening will be conducted for final candidates.
