The Front End Pharmacy Technician is responsible for providing excellent customer service for our patients and providers at our retail compounding pharmacy in Mesa. This role works in collaboration with their fellow Front End and Compounding Technicians, Staff Pharmacists, and reports to the Pharmacist-in-Charge.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide excellent customer service to patients and providers in person and by phone.
- →Leverage pharmacy management software for efficient entry of prescription information and to provide updates to patients.
- →Fill prescriptions and prepare for pick up or shipment.
- →Effectively process prescription orders to quickly get the right medication to the right patient at the right time.
- →Process medication orders through point of sale system.
- →Participate in regular audits and inspections.
- →Participate in any department meeting and quality improvement activities.
- →Complete appropriate documentation such as labels, log sheets, and reports in a timely manner.

Requirements
~1 min read- Full Time: 40 hours per week
- High School degree or equivalent
- Certified pharmacy technician in the state of Arizona
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Willing to undergo a background check and drug testing in advance of employment
- Must be capable of using the appropriate personal protective equipment as required per procedure and medication handled.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
- Flexibility to fill-in at our other locations considered a plus.
What We Offer
~1 min read- 9:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday - Friday
- No weekends
