Call for Interest - Talent Pool

The Eskasoni School Board is seeking university students, community members, and retirees interested in casual employment opportunities in various positions.

Available Roles:

Reception
Administrative Support
Teachers
Teaching Assistants (TAs)
Early Childhood Educators
Early Childhood Educator Assistants
Bus Drivers
Bus Aides
Janitorial and Maintenance Services
Before & Afterschool Monitors

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalency with related years of work experience.
Preference will be given to candidates who have post secondary education.
Other combination of education and experience will be considered an asset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working knowledge of basic computer applications.
Fluency in Mi'kmaq language an asset.
Ability to maintain high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
Self motivated
Satisfactory Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Abuse Registry checks are mandatory upon hire.
