Hardware Support Specialist.IT Operation & Infrastructure

Provide full support “Fixing problems-Deployments-Upgrades” to all client-side related Hardware problems, acting as a second line in handling and solving IT Hardware related problems for Etisalat employees to maintain their computers availability and ensure satisfaction exceeds expectations.
To monitor Hardware Support Staff and ensure high level service provided as well as effective communication verbally and through emails.
Manage and support all client-side related Hardware projects, when it comes to new rollouts Items replacements, or new ideas introduced.
 

•    Ensure effective customer support in the area of information technology by providing troubleshooting and ad-hoc Hardware technical assistance to users.
•    Perform physical count activities to ensure better control of assets.
•    Deliver, retrieve and control HW items according to warehousing standards.
•    Develop good understanding of assigned Hardware products.
•    Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs outside working hours.
•    Participate in IT hardware related projects to meet business objectives / needs.
•    Fix, install and support all related IT hardware components.
•    Provide new technologies in terms of HW equipment
 

    University Degree in Computer Science / Engineering.
    Minimum 1 to 2 years’ Experience.
    Experience in managing Microsoft IT based operations.
    Excellent in managing people.
    Excellent Computer skills.
    Excellent in Arabic & English (Reading, Writing & Oral).
    Excellent communication and customer oriented skills.
 

Essential:
- MCP 2008/2012 Certified.
- Attend “Managing people” course.
Desirable:
- Attend CCNA course.
- ITIL Foundation Certified.
- MCSE 2012 Certified
