About the Role
~1 min readThe Manager, Technical Implementation Services is a leadership role within our Professional Services organization, responsible for the teams that architect, configure, and operationalize how EvenUp connects with client technology ecosystems. Reporting to the VP of Professional Services, this leader will own the end-to-end technical delivery experience for our customers from pre-sale solution design through post-go-live integration health by leading several technical services across the portfolio.
This is a high impact, cross functional role at the intersection of customer success, technical delivery, and product partnership. The ideal candidate is an experienced people leader who brings deep technical fluency, a customer-obsessed mindset, and the operational rigor to scale a fast-growing delivery function while actively supporting a high volume of in-flight customer work. This leader will operate with full ownership of the integration function’s health, balancing immediate delivery demands with building the systems and processes needed to scale.
Lead, mentor, and grow the technical services teams fostering a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Define team structure, hiring plans, and career development frameworks that scale with EvenUp’s rapid growth.
Establish clear performance expectations, lead through managers, and develop team members into future leaders while maintaining a high bar for accountability and delivery outcomes.
Serve as an escalation point and executive sponsor for high stakes customer engagements, providing hands-on guidance when needed.
Own the end-to-end technical delivery strategy for customer integrations, including system-to-system connections between EvenUp and Case Management Systems (CMS), legal practice management platforms, and other partner technologies.
Develop and continuously improve integration frameworks, playbooks, and reusable templates that drive predictable, scalable delivery across the customer base.
Partner with Solutions Architects to drive pre-sale technical scoping, ensuring implementation commitments are realistic, well-documented, and set customers up for long-term success.
Act as the primary liaison between Professional Services and EvenUp’s Product and Engineering teams, translating complex customer integration needs into actionable product requirements and platform improvements.
Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Sales, and Technical Program Management to ensure smooth handoffs, aligned expectations, and a seamless customer journey from contract through go-live.
Work alongside Security, Legal, and Compliance stakeholders to ensure all integration and data migration practices adhere to data governance, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA/PII).
Represent the voice of the customer in internal roadmap discussions, advocating for integration capabilities and data migration tooling that unlock growth and reduce implementation friction.
Build and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms that provide visibility into integration health, delivery timelines, team utilization, and customer activation outcomes, while creating structured workflows to manage high volumes of inbound requests, escalations, and cross-functional input.
Identify bottlenecks, risks, and process gaps; implement systemic solutions that reduce time-to-go-live and improve quality at scale.
Drive adoption of tooling, automation, and best practices that increase team efficiency and reduce manual effort across integration and migration workflows.
Manage vendor and partner relationships relevant to integration infrastructure and tooling.
Requirements
~2 min read5+ years of experience in technical implementation, solutions architecture, systems integration, or professional services with at least 3 years in a people leadership role managing multiple teams or team leads.
Demonstrated experience designing and delivering complex system integrations, including REST API frameworks, webhooks, workflows in a SaaS or legal technology environment.
Strong technical fluency: ability to engage credibly with engineers, solutions architects, and data specialists on integration architecture, data modeling, and troubleshooting without needing to write the code yourself.
Track record of building and scaling post-sale technical teams in fast-growing, customer-facing environments with multiple concurrent implementations, while maintaining delivery momentum as processes and systems are still being built.
Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to align delivery priorities and drive shared outcomes, with a bias toward ownership and problem-solving in the face of ambiguity.
Excellent communication skills: able to distill complex technical concepts for executive audiences, including communicating clearly and taking ownership when delivery risks or failures occur, while also diving into the details with implementation teams.
Deep understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices, including familiarity with SOC 2 and HIPAA/PII requirements.
Strong operational mindset, comfortable building process from the ground up, defining metrics, and holding teams accountable to delivery standards.
A founder’s mentality: ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with high volumes of ad hoc requests and shifting priorities, bringing structure to ambiguity and driving outcomes without relying on fully built systems.
